EMPOWERING THE YOUTHS FOR SUSTAINABLE POSTERITY

Empowerment is the act of conferring legality or formal warrant, licensing or permission to someone or group of people. To empower is to give or delegate power or authority to someone or people to carry out a task or function.

Empowerment is in diverse ways or forms of which comprises of educational empowerment, business empowerment, skill acquisition empowerment, etcetera. Of these empowerments are all forms of building, raising and uplifting people from low and dependable levels or standards to greater and independent standards or levels.

To the Youth undoubtedly, in this Nation, we are among the many minorities who are still shooting their stem to the surface where we will be known and recognized. To the glory of God some of us are fortunate today to hold something which can be used to raise and uplift others especially those who have dreams but no one to encourage them in actualizing their dreams. Also, the fortunate ones haven't ascert in the direction of branding others to look even merely like them.

As struggling species, the only way we can get ourselves a better Nigeria where others have gotten themselves is by empowering the youths which are seeing as the future leaders and hope of the Nation.

The Holy Book says "train or bring up a child in a way he or she will grow and live". If perhaps our leaders are able to utilize their God given resources to empower the young, there will be a continuous recompense of such attitude from generation to another.

Even if all of should become graduates tomorrow there is no way we can get it all through white collar jobs especially when the government itself is encouraging the youth to learn trades or skills.

Through empowerment, the Youths will escape poverty or been vulnerable and therefore be liberated to liberate others tomorrow.

At this juncture, I therefore call on leaders in various triangles of wealthy independency to empower even a few number of the Youths yearly, especially in the areas of Educational Scholarships, Trade, Skill Acquisitions, politics and otherwise.

There is no Country that will steadfastly grow in all and sundry without empowering the young, therefore, measures should be put at Starbucks to save the concerned age bracket from requisite falling into victimity.
