Hell
(I have been to hell and this is my version of what hell looks like)
Hell is not the place
That burns with fire
Neither is it a place
Where smoke and anguish burns
And it is not a place
Where Men cry like babies
Begging for survival
If their God wishes
To fling their feet
Out of that thick flame
Like voice and voices of chariots
Falling in battle field defenseless
With no arms to strike the sword
We wouldn't get to hell
Only when we die
Neither will we get to hell
when our breath
no longer find its way
Passing through our nostril
But I say, yes
I've being to hell
Hell is is not far from us
not fifty meters away from here
And hell is not that place
That is far from paradise
Where demons and angels
Don't get to mix like family
And eat and sleep and walk
But hell is this place
Where the rich man oppress the poor
It is a place
Where politics is the shortest route
To amass wealth uncaught
Hell is bad government
Hell is a hub of fake promises
From those who runs election
And this is the hell we are in
Hell is the hunger and thirst for a home
Where gunshots are not heard
And wounds from herdsmen is not one of us
Hell is a father molesting his daughter
Boys THIEFING little Nairas
From hand to mouths
Who wish to leave and not live
This is so inspiring. Thank you comrade
