SCHOOL POLITICS: IT'S SIGNIFICANCE TO A BETTER SOCIETY

Alutarisim as it's been nomenclatured, is a capacitative practice of politics in the higher institution of learning, as the focal administrators of issues that concerns the affairs of the students in the campus. 

The word _a luta continua_ is a phrase in the Portuguese language,  a slogan coined by the first president of FRELIMO, Dr. Eduardo Chivambo Mondlane, which he used to rally the population in the liberated zones of Mozambique during the armed struggle against Portuguese colonial rule. Following his assassination in 1969, his successor, Samora Machel, continued to use the slogan to cultivate popular support during post-independence to mobilize the population for a new Mozambique which Eduardo Mondlane defined as "We fight together, and together we rebuild and we recreate our country, producing a new reality - a New Mozambique, United and Freed. "A luta continua, vitória é certa", (The struggle continues, victory is certain)

On this note, the Nigeria Student has accepted to use it as a National motto, emphramed to mean, we are to struggle here to learn good political consciousness, and later exhibit it to the wider society for a better nation. 

But a lot especially, a sort of some religious body, have been painting it with dark black ink to make it unpresentable to any aspiring practitioner. 

With this, a lot of students have been filled to the brim not to engage themselves in such as it might likely deprecate their Connecticut with the Deity. While some conclude that it makes you no focus to your academic, others acclaims, it evil as it involves paying for a skeleton to the fetish before siting on the seat. 

But, have you come to see this, the country we are in is suffering from a dilapidated and adulterated system of governing, because, the bad and wicked ones are ruling since the good ones failed and fears to come get involved also. 

As an extra curricular activities in the campus setting, it doesn't only orient you on leadership qualities, but more of thinking far beyond the ordinary Student. Mallam Garba (sani) will say "me I just come to study, so anything that will interfere with my academic is just wasting it's time" but Ajoanu said no "that you will be helped to know your school and self better". 

Also, those who are dignitaries already in this metro politics thought it's a money making machine (mmm) where it's not. 

With alutarisim, we've been able to have political unerratumes like, shehu, Dino, lilemkpe and others who will never sit down while talking when the right of a common citizen of the country is breached.

All of this courage didn't just ran into them, rather they have trained and nurtured it for years during their days in the campus. No wonder conglomeration have to fall in as an attack of removing them from sit  because they fear them even among the cabinet. 

Thank God, according to Dino, a Comrade is never defeated, not until he is done with what he have to do. With this assertion, you learn about self courage, boldness and confidence at speech and action entirely. 

Go find and meet a Comrade who once was involved in campus politics, you will discovere that you can't dellude him to go out of his will, when he knew what he want to do is the right thing and will benefit many.

In conclusion, campus politics is an access route for better weather condition of the nation. Because, the concerned age bracket will get to be acquainted with the sidelines of good governance at an early stage in life. Alot of developed country like the USA, Ukraine, and even the African developing country of Ghana, will tesify to that.
