CAMPUS PROSTITUTION: IT'S EFFECT TO THE SOCIETY

Prostitution according to the Webster dictionary is the process where a man or woman engages in sexual activities for money. Also, the scopic wiki dictionary defines it as an illegal profession, that female practice as an escape route for survival.  

This practice have become non reare to this dispensation as many has alternate it to become a free space to create a residual income. This have turned out to become a hostage for both adults and young adults especially among Student of the higher institution of learning. 

Most of the victims of this social vices claimed to either being forced into it or by will. Alot of these concerned persons were either coerced by their parents or through latent knowledge of the use of hard drugs, which from the pleasure they derived from it now becomes uncontrollable to satisfy there urge for it. 

While some venture into it because of the uncontrollableness of their sexual urge they have nurtured for ages, and use this a woman who engages in sexual activities for moneyqval. 

This vices have become a social trend among Student of the higher institution, where night to night and even days to week, they hang out with men and women who can father and mother them for the two gender and even among themselves who shares a same age group. 

Confronting male or female victim will defend that they've been left to survive on themselves or their parents failed to ask of their daily concern which leads them to whoever will always be there to share feelings emotions with. 

And this has caused an acrue psychnical trauma to the society. Since the school serves as an extended socializatioan setting with an organised structure, the students get mode up with the illicit conduct which now get dispensed to the wider world. As the saying goes, the mother is the first teacher to the nation, so posterity get acquainted with the unacceptable misconduct of their first teacher. 

Many of the social vices withnessed in the society today, will in one way or another tracked to the home building system. Where the roommate get to see her mate with fascinating attire, this can lead her into initiation to the habit. 

In the process of involving themselves into this, there is a possibility of the students possessing a low grade performance in class, which later leads to an academic withdrawal. 

Of the number of unwanted pregnancy recorded in  Nigeria on a daily basis, campus Student have a higher ratio than any grouping class, which leads to careless abortion cases in the society. And this have lead to continuous moral decadence, from generation to another, leaving posterity hopeless of societal sanitation. 

In this damaging dispensation, parents should strive to follow up their wards, especially the females in the higher institution, by giving them the confidence that they are available, in time of emotional, physical and materials challenge. Also, the federal, state, local government and even concerned cooperate individuals can venture in by giving nurtured orientation to the masses and the youth in specific, of the dangers,  this will help to tackle the societal virus. 

In conclusion, finance should be made surplus to the wards from the parents to help solve some financial situation as cue to tip out this societal distractive trend. And if this measures can be taped into and administered space to space, there is an ultimate hope for the sanitation of the campus environment, and the society by extension.
